Calabasas, CA — 5/16/2005 –

Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Inc. today announced the release of a demo for the recently launched PC title Delta Force: Xtreme. The demo, which includes both a single player and a multiplayer level, gives gamers a taste of what to expect in the action packed game and can be downloaded here.

The single player level is called ‘Flood’ and puts gamers through their paces in the high mountains of Peru. In this level players have to fight to take control of a remote airstrip which is currently under the control of a drug lord. The multiplayer map is a snow based map with drivable vehicles. The game type supported is Team King of the Hill.

Delta Force: Xtreme was developed to offer gamers of all levels an easy pick-up-and-play FPS experience for an affordable price. The game includes 20 single player missions across 3 campaigns, 20 co-op missions and over 20 maps for online multiplayer games that support up to 32 players. Multiplayer game types include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Team King of the Hill and more as well as STATS. In addition to this, Delta Force: Xtreme introduces drivable vehicles for the first time ever in a Delta Force game.

I had a problem running the 201mb demo but theres a 290mb version on novalogics ftp that im gettin at the mo

32 players i was hoping it be at lease double that 64 players like DF:BHD has will not bad i think for around 20.00 happy it has all the areas that old games had in them. spec/20 single player missions across 3 campaigns got lost without them in the game. co-op should be nice too.

And to make this post legitimate: I think its great that Novalogic is recognising the international market as something worth pursuing, in the past i get the impression weve gotton the game just because of EA, but progressively companies are actuallymaking efforts. They should be comended.

I second that ... NL has taken a very bold and positive step by coming up with this demo. I commend them for that. I think Fox6 is going to be a major asset for them and will help them think outside the box.

I do to. I am glad they came out with it because I am not going to waste $20 on the real product. The motor cycles and Dune buggies are cool but they are WAAAAAAAY glitchy on multi.
